We as users and connoisseurs of this software it is good, not only to enjoy and use them, without knowing who the inventor and designer of this adobe photoshop software, to be a software that has many benefits hehe. From several sources that I read about the history of the discovery of adobe photoshop I can conclude as below.

        he discovery of this adobe photoshop began in 1987 when Thomas Knoll, a student at the University of Michigan, USA, to buy the latest Apple Mac Plus to support his thesis workmanship. He was surprised because he bought a computer that is not capable of displaying high quality grayscale images on a monochrome monitor. Then he began to write a program to solve the problem so that his macintosh plus can display grayscale images on a monochrome display. The program is then called display, which attracted the attention of his brother John Knoll, an employee at Industrial Light and Magic, who recommended Thomas to change the program into a full image editing program.

     At tahn 1988 Thomas took a break from his studies to collaborate with his brother to have completed the program, which has been renamed ImagePro. Finally in 1988 it was also Thomas Knoll successfully Completion of the program and renamed Adobe Photoshop, and work in the short term with the company Barneyscan scanner to distribute the program, and up to 200 copies. They were not satisfied just like that, they also continue to develop the program into a more complete program from generation to generation until today.
